Lori Routh
Past President
2015-2016
For several years Lori worked at Baylor University Medical Center as a medical social worker. A busy volunteer leader in the community, as so many of our Alliance leaders are, Lori has also raised two sets of twins – three girls and one boy – with her husband, cardiovascular disease specialist Keith Routh. Volunteering heavily for her children’s schools, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts was important to her. She carried that into her children’s college years as well by serving their schools and sorority’s mothers’ clubs.
Among her Board and leadership positions was serving as chair of the DSO Debutante Presentation Ball. She has been active with the Alliance for over 20 years, having served as president, five of the vice president positions, recording secretary and parliamentarian.
The Position
She offers counsel to the president along with four of her colleagues. Lori’s current position as vice president on membership for TMAA allows her to bring an additional perspective to her service on this committee and to the board in serving as a liaison with the state organization at the request of the Alliance president.
