2nd VP – Philanthropy
Since moving to Texas in 2005, Kathy, who is married to fellow DCMSAF Board Member Marvin Stone, MD, worked for the Baylor Healthcare System Foundation before joining the staff at Hoblitzelle Foundation from which she retired in 2018. A volunteer leadership role she held was President of the Dallas Chapter of Executive Women International. Her children and grandchildren live out of state – way out. Two live in Glasgow, Scotland, a one-year old in Washington State, two teenagers in California and a new grandchild on the way. She loves to travel – and it’s a good thing! She also loves music, college sports, calligraphy, and spending time with family – again – that she loves to travel –it’s a good thing!
Raising funds to finance the Alliance projects of community outreach and health education as well as the programs for members and guests at the Aldredge House is a necessity in order for the organization to carry out the Mission of the DCMSA&F. We follow multiple avenues to accomplish this: membership, donations to our special funds and fundraising events among them.
