Norm Hitzges is a renowned sports talk radio host and author, celebrated for his energetic style and deep sports knowledge 1. He pioneered morning sports talk radio in Dallas and spent 48 years on-air, first with KLIF and later with KTCK (“SportsRadio 1310 The Ticket”).
He is known for several popular show segments and for hosting the yearly “Norm-A-Thon” —an 18-hour broadcast raising funds for a Dallas homeless shelter. After announcing his retirement in June 2023, Hitzges launched his podcast “Just Wondering… With Norm Hitzges,” where he continues to share insights on sports and other topics.
