On May 5, 1993, the Ruth and Grace Talkington Fund, created by a generous gift from the late Perry Talkington, MD, in honor of his late first wife Ruth and his current wife at the time of the gift, Grace Talkington, now deceased, was merged with the Reserve Fund to create the Benefactors Fund This major fund supports grants to the DCMSAF philanthropies, community non-profits in line with our mission, special projects such as community outreach and, in general, to secure the future and properties of the Alliance and to provide and produce funds for its projects.
