Vernell Shuey, Chair

Vernell grew up in Fredericksburg, Texas. Became a community educator, leadership developer and marriage and family counselor.  She enjoys helping families reshape their lives and individuals to redefine their futures. A member of DCMA for over 40 years and started a physician spouse networking group in the early 90s. Married to Charles Shuey for 50 years. Widowed in 2015. Vernell and Charles have three adult children and blessed with eight grandchildren, ages 8-18.

The Position

The chair works as an ambassador for the Aldredge House by communicating with like-minded local nonprofits to offer use of the Aldredge House as a meeting place. This is allowed once a year per organization.
