Jessica Hilvitz

Jessica Hilvitz was born in San Francisco California, acquired a BFA from Metropolitan State University of Denver in Colorado, and now works for the Dallas Public Library as a Program Specialist. She is dedicated to leading Storytimes and engaging Dallas kids through art-based programming. Outside of the library Jessica creates artwork out of a studio provided by The Cedars Union and shares the title of house manager for the historic Aldridge House, with her spouse, Joel Murray. In her spare time, Jessica can be found walking Swiss avenue looking for the neighborhood hawk or in the green house, trying not to kill the plants.
