Mission Statement
The Dallas County Medical Society Alliance Foundation (DCMSAF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote health education through community programming, to preserve and maintain the historic Aldredge House, and provide financial support to other 501(c)(3) organizations.
Dallas County Medical Society Alliance Foundation
Over one hundred years ago, we were a group of women married to doctors drawn together to serve the community by providing health education and outreach. Later we were given a mansion on Swiss Avenue, the beautiful Aldredge House, for our headquarters of which we have taken great care. Today we are quite different. Wives of physicians are still the nucleus of our organization, but now we are an exceptionally multi-faceted group with approximately 400 members, including physicians of all ages – both male and female.
We still maintain our headquarters so well that we have been honored with several awards. From that place, Aldredge House, we grow projects to still serve the community, as we did over 100 years ago, in the area of health education and outreach, and within its walls we present high-caliber programs to the community and our members.

Recipient of State of Texas Historical Marker from Texas Historical Society, Recognized for being the oldest Alliance in the Country. All other Alliances, national, state or country, were formed after Dallas County.
